We offer two extension options:
Regular Process
This process takes 14 working days, including the submission of your passport to Immigration and the biometric scan. Here are the steps involved:
Your passport will be handed over to Immigration on the next working day after we receive it from you at our agency office. A courier service is also available, if you cannot drop-off your passport to our agency’s office in person.
Within 5-10 working days, you will be invited to have your fingerprints taken. We will notify you in advance via WhatsApp and send detailed instructions.
Visit the Immigration office on the specified day for the fingerprinting process.
After the fingerprinting, the processing time is 7 working days. Once completed, your passport will be returned to our office where you can pick it up, or we can courier it back to you.
Express Process
This expedited process takes less than 7 working days. The steps include:
Your passport will be handed over to Immigration on the next working day after we receive it from you. A courier service is also available, if you cannot drop-off your passport to our agency’s office in person.
Within 2-3 working days, you will be invited to have your fingerprints taken. We will notify you in advance via WhatsApp and provide detailed instructions.
Visit the Immigration office on the specified day for the fingerprinting process.
After the fingerprinting, immigration will process your extension within 1 working day. Once completed, your passport will be returned to our office ready to be collected.
Please note that national holidays and system errors can occasionally result in longer processing times. Bringing your passport to us as early as you can is the best way to avoid complications or overstay fees. -
When visiting the Immigration office, it's important to dress appropriately. Sleeveless t-shirts, shorts, miniskirts and sandals are not allowed. We recommend wearing suitable clothing to ensure a smooth visit.
-
To do a visa extension, you need to give your fingerprints at Immigration, which you will need to be in Bali for. Please make sure your travel plans don’t clash with your fingerprinting by checking the dates with us.
Once that’s considered, if you have a photograph which clearly shows your passport and visa along with date stamps, you can still travel in Indonesia without a passport. We recommend bringing a driving license if possible, and will happily provide a sponsorship letter stating that your passport is currently with immigration if you need some extra peace of mind.
-
Once your Visa on Arrival (VOA) has reached the 60-day limit, it's important to plan your departure from Indonesia. Please keep in mind that the VOA is not convertible to any other visa type unless you fly out of the country and back in again.
-
It is important to adhere to the specified length of your visa to avoid any complications. If you happen to overstay your visa, the fee is 1,000,000 IDR per day. If you require assistance with obtaining a new visa or have any questions regarding an overstay, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to help.
-
There’s no need to stress! If your visa has not expired at the time it is submitted to immigration for processing, you will not incur any overstay fees. We ensure that your documents are handled promptly and efficiently to minimize any potential issues.
